Praying with us before and after our Chapter

In this period of preparation for the General Chapter, let us invoke the Spirit promised by Jesus so that our communities may seek the will of the Father and be open to conversion.

1. That we may seek the will of the Father; that we may listen to the Spirit, to the Church and to the world, placing Christ at the centre of our lives and of our commitments.
R. Veni, Sancte Spiritus
2. That we may learn to discern the call of God in our communities, in the life of the people and in events, so that we may be able to discover where the Spirit is leading us at this moment and that we may welcome God’s will in the way Etienne Pernet and Antoinette Fage did.
R. Veni, Sancte Spiritus
3. That we may be sensitive, as God is, to all injustices, all the forms of hunger and thirst experienced by men and women today and that we may become builders of communion and of peace.
R. Veni, Sancte Spiritus
4. So that in the Assumption we, sisters, brothers and laity, may place ourselves together at the service of the Kingdom in the world of today to testify that our diversity is richness.
R. Veni, Sancte Spiritus
5. So that, under the action of the Spirit and following the example of Mary, we may choose to risk our life in the adventure of the encounter with God so as to live filled with passion for the reign and available for any mission.
R. Veni, Sancte Spiritus
