The harshness of the situations that confront us or
which we witness in our local surroundings as well as
at the international level, impels us to act according
to our option for the poor. Countless people are subjected
to violence, marked by hunger and wounded in their dignity.
Consequently, "action on behalf of justice and
participation in the transformation of the world fully
appear to us as a constitutive diamension of the preaching
of the gospel."
Rule
of Life no 21.

"The
God of compassion who draws near to all who suffer continues
to open our hearts to hear more attentively the painful cries
of humanity sending us forth to give a radical response in
working for Justice Peace and the Integrity of Creation"
